Condolences to the Tindall Family |
May 7, 2012 |
Dear Tindall Family,
I was so saddened to hear about Kevin's passing. You have my deepest sympathies and are in my prayers. Kevin was a few years youner than me in school, but I remember all three boys, especially Keith, who was the oldest. May God be with his wife, parents, and surviving family. And, Mr. Tindall, who I knew quite well, great teacher, had you the first year you came to Macon when I was in the 7th grade for science. Just know that I've been thinking of all of you in this difficult time.
Sincerely, Janice (Metzger) Berry

Dear Tindall Family,
Please accept my hearfelt sympathies and condolences for your loss.
I was a friend of Kevin's at Eastern Illinois University from 1979 -1982.
Kevin's knickname at school was "Bake", a derivitive of being from Macon. My knickname was "Spike", I'm still not sure where that came from... I moved to 5th floor Carman Hall in 1979 and Kevin lived 2 doors down the hall with Mike "Turk" Turkalja (sp?). The next year my roomate Gene "Bear" O'Shea and I moved to 3rd floor Thomas Hall and so did Bake & Turk. We spent countless hours playing backgammon, watching M*A*S*H* reruns and hanging out. Kevin was very witty and a great deal of fun to be around. Unfortunately, we only stayed in touch for a few years after graduating from EIU, we all kinda went our separate ways after EIU-- (I went on to law school at SIU-C and returned to my home town of Hillsboro to practice law in 1987)
I was saddened to learn of Kevin's passing from a mutual friend from Eastern.
I am glad that I had the opportunity to know him, I have many fond memories of time spent with him in our youth.
Again, I offer my sympathies to Kevin's wife, parents and survivng family.
